Every lesson included in the 6-Week Mindful Writers Challenge incorporates instruction on both mindfulness and craft. Some weeks are weighted more heavily toward the specific skills of writing, while others focus more on developing mindfulness. Learn to evoke emotion and stay with it long enough to describe it with empathy and precision.

Banish writer's block forever by taking a closer look at what is really keeping you from writing.

Deal with rejections, manage imposter syndrome, develop your craft and above all: keep writing.

Five hour-long mindful writing sessions, each consisting of a 10-minute meditation (reinforcing the lesson of the week) and 50 minutes of writing time

A zoom writing workshop with the other mindful writers in the challenge

April Dávila is an award-winning fiction writer and meditation teacher certified by the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California Berkeley.
After realizing how much meditation helped her in her writing career (and her life) she decided to share what she had learned so that others might benefit.
